Request for exception under article 16 of EC Regulation 883/2004
It is possible to remain subject to the social security legislation in Luxembourg in accordance with the dispositions of article 16 of EC regulation 883/2004 if the posting to another country exceeds 24 months or if the duration of the posting is extended beyond 24 months, up to a maximum of 5 years.
If the posting is expected to be shorter than 24 months, please contact the Centre commun de la sécurité sociale.
